The Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam had begun its service as the youth department of the Mar Thoma Church in 1933, equipping youths through the years to accept Jesus Christ as Lord, God and Saviour. This year, in order to celebrate its 80th year, we are organizing a programme involving thousands of youths from around the state.

We cordially invite all the youths of the Mar Thoma Church to participate in the meeting which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 4th of May, 2013 at the Mar Thoma Youth Centre, Adoor at 2:00 pm. The meeting, which will be presided by the Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan, will be inaugurated by the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy, and will also be graced by the presence of the Most Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan and Rt. Rev. Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcopa, the President of the Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam. We wish to officially launch the 80th year project of the Sakhyam Gramam during this programme. The meeting will conclude with the musical orchestra led by renowned musician Stephen Devassy and team. We earnestly request and hope that the office bearers of all the Sakhas, Centres and Dioceses will come and also make necessary arrangements to bring forward youths for this commemorative programme.
